Not a single snap of the 2021 college football season has been taken yet, but already ESPN’s Todd McShay is making projections about the top players in the sport. Last week, he released his Top 50 prospects for the 2022 NFL Draft.
Eight of those players were from the B1G.
Four players from Ohio State and one from Iowa, Northwestern, Michigan and Purdue were all included in McShay’s early Top 50 projections. When the season officially kicks off, that list will certainly change.
Here’s a look at the B1G players McShay included in his Top 50:
10. Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
14. Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
15. Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
30. Brandon Joseph, S, Northwestern
33. Zach Harrison, DE, Ohio State
40. Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan
56. George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue
58. Thayer Munford, OT, Ohio State
