ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay has already released his first mock draft for the 2022 event.

It’s still a year away, but it’s never too early to project where college football’s biggest stars will be heading when the season concludes. Seven of the 32 players predicted to be a first-round pick are out of the B1G.

During the 2021 NFL Draft, seven former B1G players were selected in the first round, as well.

Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is currently the highest-rated B1G prospect in the 2022 class, per McShay. The Wolverine is tabbed as the No. 8 overall selection in the draft.

Ohio State will produce four first-round selections next year, according to McShay. That’s the highest projected total among B1G programs for the 2022 NFL Draft. Michigan, Purdue and Penn State all have one.

Here’s a look at which B1G stars McShay believes will be taken in the first round next year:

No. 8: Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan (New York Giants)

No. 12: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State (Atlanta Falcons)

No. 13: George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue (Minnesota Vikings)

No. 14: Sevyn Banks, CB, Ohio State (Arizona Cardinals)

No. 23: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State (New England Patriots)

No. 25: Zach Harrison, DE, Ohio State (New York Jets)

No. 26: Rashed Walker, OL, Penn State (Baltimore Ravens)
