The best receiver and a top five player in the 2019 recruiting class is back on the market.

On Wednesday morning, Jadon Haselwood, ranked by 247Sports as the top wide receiver, announced his decision to decommit from Georgia. He had previously committed to the Bulldogs in March 2017.

Haselwood made the announcement via his Twitter account.

“This is a very tough decision for me, but I feel that this is the best decision for me to make at this time. I have decided to decommit from the University of Georgia and open my recruitment,” Haselwood said on Twitter. “Please respect my decision as this was not an easy choice for me to make.”

Other schools that were heavily involved in his recruitment were Miami (FL), Auburn and Oklahoma.

While he didn’t appear to give much consideration to the B1G, Haselwood did receive offers from three programs in the conference: Ohio State, Michigan and Illinois. None of those have been considered options throughout his recruitment.

But who knows? Perhaps a B1G team could creep into the picture for the 5-star Georgia native.
