A veteran defender out of the ACC recently entered the transfer portal. It did not take long for some B1G programs to show interest by extending offers.

The player is Jordan Domineck, a defensive lineman out of Georgia Tech. Originally a 3-star member of the 2018 recruiting class, Domineck spent 4 seasons with the Yellow Jackets before entering the portal on Feb. 18.

Since that time, Domineck has raked in offers from 4 B1G programs. Indiana and Penn State were the first to show interest with Michigan State and Nebraska entering the mix Wednesday.

Of that group, the Spartans stand out due to a new addition to Mel Tucker’s staff. New Michigan State defensive line coach Marco Coleman has worked with Domineck the past 3 seasons at Georgia Tech.

For his career, Domineck has 103 total tackles, 17.5 TFL, 9 sacks and 5 forced fumbles. He posted 38 total tackles with 5.5 TFL and 3.5 sacks in 2021.

With his body of work and veteran experience, Domineck should have a chance to step in and contribute right away at his next program.
