A pair of B1G kickers have been included as candidates for the 2021 Lou Groza Award. The watch list for the upcoming season was released on Wednesday morning.

Indiana’s Charles Campbell and Nebraska’s Connor Culp are the two kickers from the conference to be included on this year’s watch list. The Lou Groza Award is presented annually to the top kicker in college football.

Campbell was as consistent as any kicker in the country in 2020 for the Hoosiers. He converted on 10-of-11 field goal attempts and knocked down all 25 extra point tries. Campbell was also successful on all three kicks from 50 yards or further, including a long of 53 yards.

At the end of the season, Campbell was a first-team All-B1G selection.

Culp also had a strong season in the B1G in 2020. He connected on 13-of-15 field goal tries for the Huskers last fall and knocked down 20 PAT tries for the year. His longest field goal on the year was a 49-yard attempt.
