Two B1G players were named to the Paul Hornung Award Week 5 Honor Roll for their performances on Saturday.

Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and Maryland receiver D.J. Moore received recognition for huge performances this past weekend, as each led his team to a win.

Barkley finished Saturday’s game against Indiana with 205 all-purpose yards, including a 98-yard kick return that ended in a touchdown. He also threw a touchdown pass late in the game. Penn State defeated the Hoosiers 45-14.

Moore had a big day as well, catching eight passes for 90 yards and a touchdown in Maryland’s 31-24 win over Minnesota in Week 5. He also had 24 rushing yards and 35 yards on three punt returns.

The Paul Hornung Award is given to the most versatile player in college football.
