Two B1G teams are finalists for the second-ranked junior college player in the 2021 recruiting class.

Over the weekend, 4-star cornerback De’Jahn Warren narrowed down his list of candidates to three teams: Georgia, Maryland and Penn State. The defensive back trimmed the list down after receiving offers from 32 programs during the recruiting process.

Warren is currently playing at Lackawanna Community College. He’s ranked as the No. 2 JUCO product in the 2021 class, according to 247Sports. Warren announced his top three with a video on Twitter.

In his first season at Lackawanna, Warren was named an All-American at the junior college level. He finished his freshman campaign with 35 tackles, 5 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles. He also broke up 6 passes and registered a tackle for loss.

Lackawanna ended the 2019 season with a 10-1 record, with the lone loss coming in the NJCAA Championship Game, falling to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Warren is a native of Hyattsville, Maryland.

Both Maryland and Penn State have recruiting classes ranked inside the top 30 nationally for the 2021 class. The Terrapins currently sit 19th nationally while the Nittany Lions are sitting at No. 28.
