A pair of B1G teams are in the running to land a 4-star linebacker out of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Sunday, outside linebacker Melvin Jordan revealed his Top 5 teams, and Indiana and Minnesota are still in the mix. He also included in-state programs Florida State and Miami, as well as Oregon State to round out his list.
Jordan revealed his Top 5 with a post on Twitter. The 6-foot, 205-pound linebacker is ranked as the No. 31 player out of Florida for the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports.

Jordan ranks as the No. 21 outside linebacker in the 2022 class and cracks the Top 300 nationally, coming in at No. 264. He narrowed down his list to five programs after receiving 17 offers on the recruiting front.
According to 247Sports, Jordan had a huge season at Clearwater Central Catholic in 2018, totaling 74 stops, 10.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and an interception. He also rushed for 142 yards on the offensive side of the ball.
In 2019, Jordan attended IMG Academy and made 29 tackles and intercepted 2 passes.
Minnesota currently has one player committed in the 2022 recruiting class, 4-star strong-side defensive end Trey Bixby out of Lakewood, Ohio. Indiana currently has zero pledges in the cycle.
