Less than a week after the first college football game was played, two more contests will take place on Thursday night. It will be the first time FBS programs have hit the field in 2020.

On Saturday, Austin Peay and Central Arkansas opened the college football season with the first game of 2020. The two FCS programs fought in a thrilling game, with UCA scoring a late touchdown to register a 24-17 victory in the opener.

The Bears are back in action tonight, putting their 1-0 record on the line as they’ll take on UAB. The Blazers are the first FBS program that will take the field this fall. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET and the game with air on ESPN3.

UAB is currently a 19.5-point favorite.

It’s not the only game in play tonight. We’ll also have the first FBS vs. FBS game on our platter this evening, as South Alabama and Southern Miss are also scheduled for a weeknight bout.

Kickoff between South Alabama and Southern Miss is set for 9 p.m. and the game will air on CBS Sports Network. Southern Miss is a 13.5-point favorite.
