The last year has been a tough one for UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton. After suffering a season-ending injury late last season, the Knights star player has been unable to take the field this season.
On Friday, Milton participated in the team’s Senior Day activities, getting recognized for his time with UCF. He was able to take the field in Orlando as UCF hosted USF in the “War on I-4” game. Appropriately, the crowd at UCF gave the quarterback a standing ovation.
Below is video of Milton walking onto the field for Senior Night at Spectrum Stadium, as posted by Jason Beede of 247Sports.

Milton will graduate in December, but is already enrolled in UCF’s graduate program. He plans to return next season to quarterback the Knights again in 2020.
Milton received a ton of recognition during UCF’s storybook season in 2017, when the Knights finished 13-0 with an AAC title and a Peach Bowl victory over Auburn. That season, he threw for 4,037 yards and 37 touchdowns, and rushed for an additional 613 yards and eight scores.
UCF defeated USF 34-7 to close out the regular season.
