University of Virginia students held a powerful moment of silence for 3 fallen fellow students following a shooting on a school field trip Sunday.

The 3 victims were all members of the University of Virginia football team, including former Wisconsin receiver Devin Chandler. The other 2 members of the team who passed in the shooting were D’Sean Perry and Lavel Davis Jr. All 3 were juniors for the Cavaliers.

This is a moving and somber scene.

The alleged shooter in the incident has been taken into custody as of Monday afternoon. He was a former walk-on for the Cavaliers football program.

A pair of other students were injured in the shooting, 1 of which was confirmed to be Virginia running back Mike Hollins, per On3 Sports. According to Hollins’ father, he is expected to recover.
