UNLV will have a tribute planned on Saturday night to honor the victims and heroes involved in the mass shooting that occurred at a Las Vegas concert on Sunday night.

The program announced that this weekend’s game against San Diego State would be “Heroes Night” and UNLV will be wearing these helmets to honor everyone involved.

More than 500 were injured and 59 were killed in the shooting on Sunday night, as Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of people enjoying a country concert.

“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victims and the families impacted by this senseless act of violence,” Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois said, according to Yahoo Sports.. “While football is just a game, it can also serve as a rallying point of unity and allow all of us to recognize the incredible heroism displayed by so many this week. We are all extremely proud of our community’s response over the last couple of days.”

Saturday’s game between San Diego State and UNLV is scheduled for 10:45 p.m. ET.
