Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, and Purdue were all winners this weekend, but none were bigger than the Buckeyes.

As college football fans, we got exactly what we were hoping for on Saturday evening when Penn State hosted Ohio State with nearly 111,000 in attendance for an extremely intimidating white-out. The Nittany Lions dominated in the first half, OSU battled back to take a 14-13 lead in the third quarter, and then it swung right back in the favor of the home team as it held a 12-point advantage with eight minutes remaining.

But then the Buckeyes showed the world why they’re the No. 2 team in ESPN’s updated Football Power Index top 25, somehow managing to steal a 27-26 victory in Happy Valley to remain perfect on the season and set up perfectly for a College Football Playoff run.

Altogether, the Big Ten has six teams making an appearance in the FPI following Week 5’s games, including the two discussed above staying in the top-5. Michigan (7) dropped a spot after needing to score 20 unanswered to beat Northwestern, 20-17. Wisconsin (14) didn’t move while it was on its bye, but Michigan State (20) fell eight spots after looking unimpressive in a 31-20 win over Central Michigan.

Also, welcome back, Iowa (25), which re-enters the rankings after benefiting from others’ losses while on bye. So here’s how it looks:

No. 2: Ohio State
No. 4: Penn State
No. 7 Michigan
No. 14 Wisconsin
No. 20 Michigan State
No. 25 Iowa

Purdue (46) and Indiana (61) were the only other teams to post victories in Week 5.
