There won’t be an updated top 25 from the Associated Press or the coaches until later this week, but ESPN has updated its Football Power Index (FPI) following Saturday’s full slate of games.

B1G fans are going to love the latest rankings.

Six teams from the conference were listed in the top 25 spots, with five of those teams landing in the top 13. It’s a heck of a way to head into the second week of the college football season.

Here’s where all six of those B1G teams landed, according to ESPN’s FPI:

  • No. 3: Ohio State
  • No. 9: Michigan
  • No. 11: Wisconsin
  • No. 12: Penn State
  • No. 13: Michigan State
  • No. 22: Iowa

Five of those six teams started off the year 1-0 after their respective Week 1 matchup. Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa all won in convincing fashion while Penn State and Michigan State survived scares.

Michigan was the only team to drop its season opener, falling 24-17 to Notre Dame.

The B1G wasn’t the only conference to have great representation in the FPI as the SEC also had six teams tabbed in the top 25.
