We’ve already been a witness to one monumental upset on Saturday, with Kansas State knocking off No. 3 Oklahoma 38-35, but there’s a real possibility that a few more top 10 teams tumble this weekend.

The SEC opened play this weekend, and already there are some fireworks.

New Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach led his Bulldogs to a 17-14 lead against No. 6 LSU in Baton Rouge. Mississippi State won just six games last season and traveled to Tiger Stadium to take on the defending national champions.

That’s not all in SEC land.

Another first-year head coach, Sam Pittman’s Arkansas team was able to keep No. 4 Georgia’s offense from getting anything going in the first half of Saturday afternoon’s crossover matchup. The Razorbacks took a 7-5 advantage into halftime.

There’s still a lot of football left, but there’s a possibility that at least three of the top six teams in the country fall on Saturday.
