Urban Meyer 'all in' on one college football national championship contender
Urban Meyer was impressed with how Georgia played against Oregon. The Bulldogs won by a score of 49-3 in the season opener.
Meyer joined the FOX Big Noon Kickoff cast as a part of their Week 1 overreaction segment. He was on the panel with former Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn.

The former Ohio State coach stated that he is all in on the Georgia Bulldogs to repeat as national champs.
“I’m all in on Georgia. It was a systematic beatdown from offense, defense, and kicking. I didn’t expect that,” Meyer said of UGA’s Week 1 win over Oregon. “The two most underrated names in college football right now are their offensive coordinator Todd Monken … and Stetson Bennett.”
Quinn is also leaning towards Georgia, but for a different reason. He thinks that Stetson Bennett is going to be someone that will turn heads when he goes to the NFL.
“They were winning at one point last year maybe despite him or he was just managing, now he’s leading them,” Quinn said. “He’s a guy that NFL evaluators are going to say ‘this guy is draftable.”
Georgia has a lot of talent coming back, and it’s definitely possible.
