There was a lot to breakdown after the B1G’s first week of action.

Thrilling finishes were the theme of the weekend as a number of games came down to the wire. No ending was bigger than Penn State’s loss to Indiana where Hoosiers QB Michael Penix Jr. came up with the play of the game in overtime.

Not every game was close with Ohio State and Michigan among teams to win big over Nebraska and Minnesota, respectively. The Cornhuskers actually started strong and were very much in the game at halftime. Meanwhile, the Gophers dug themselves a big hole with some bad plays and bad decision-making that saw them trailing big at halftime.

On Monday, Urban Meyer sat down with BTN’s Rick Pizzo to discuss and breakdown all the action across the conference. Among the big storylines, Meyer touched on is the development of Ohio State QB Justin Fields, the need for more playmakers at Nebraska, and the big Week 1 showing of Michigan’s offense led by OC Josh Gattis and new QB Joe Milton.
