Urban Meyer took to social media to detail his takeaways from a wild weekend of B1G football. The former Florida and Ohio State coach is now part of FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff crew.

For Meyer’s Week 6 takeaways, the former coach first pointed to Marvin Harrison Jr.’s huge day for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

“Number 1, best player in America,” Meyer declares, referring to Harrison. The star receiver collected 8 catches for 163 yards and 1 TD. As Meyer pointed out, Harrison’s big day was a big part of the Buckeyes’ victory over the previously undefeated Maryland Terrapins.

Next, Meyer shouted out the Michigan defense.

“The Wolverine defense continues to dominate, at Minnesota, they held the Gopher offense to just 52 total yards passing,” explained Meyer. The Wolverines improved to 6-0 after thoroughly destroying the Golden Gophers by a score of 52-10.

Finally, Meyer shouted out Matt Rhule and his Nebraska team for getting a B1G win over Illinois.

“Nebraska defense holds Illinois to 21 yards total rushing,” explained the former coach. The Huskers ended up winning 20-7 to improve to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in B1G play.
