That didn’t take long.

Less than two hours after B1G chancellors and presidents convened to vote on USC and UCLA’s formal request to join the B1G Thursday, the conference welcomed its 15th and 16th members, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

This move has reportedly been in the works for months, but is now official after the Southern California duo’s proposal was accepted. This also raises many questions for the future of not only the B1G, but the college football landscape as a whole.

USC and UCLA will officially begin play in the 2024 season, just over 2 years away. The vote among B1G officials was unanimous, per report.
