All signs are pointing to an epic showdown in Madison this Saturday.

With both teams coming out of the bye week, Michigan and Wisconsin are set to square off in a battle between ranked B1G opponents. The Wolverines enter No. 11 on the latest AP Poll while the Badgers check in at No. 13.

The two teams also enter on two opposite ends of the spectrum. Michigan is undefeated but has underwhelmed at times. Meanwhile, Wisconsin is 2-0 after two dominant shutouts to start the season.

Obviously, the competition takes a step up for both teams, and the winner will likely slot in behind Ohio State as the No. 2 team in the B1G for the early part of the season. While the winner will not make a ton of headway towards the College Football Playoff this early in the season, the loser will face a challenging uphill climb to stay in contention. To this point, no two-loss team has ever made the Playoff.

As the teams get set for the game, Odds Shark released a computer prediction for the final outcome. According to that projection, the Badgers are predicted to earn a narrow, hard-fought victory with a 31.6-29.7 victory over the Wolverines.

Here’s the prediction:

According to this prediction, it sounds like Wisconsin’s homefield advantage of Camp Randall Stadium will play a key factor in the game. Kickoff for Saturday’s highly anticipated B1G showdown is set for 12 pm EST on FOX.
