The B1G slate of action gets started a little bit earlier this weekend when Penn State and Maryland take center stage Friday evening.

It’s safe to say this is the biggest game so far this season for Mike Locksley and the Terrapins. After starting the season 2-0 in electric fashion, Maryland fell flat with a loss to Temple in Week 3. Locksley and company need to show they can rebound from that loss by at least putting up some points and hanging with the Nittany Lions.

For James Franklin’s squad, they have already played in-state rival Pittsburgh in a tight, dramatic finish. However, picking up a conference win Friday night carries premium importance.

As the two teams wrap up preparation for the showdown, Odds Shark released a computer prediction for the contest. Penn State enters the game as right at a touchdown favorite, and the computer sees it just about the same way.

The Nittany Lions are expected to cover -6.5 by winning the game with a score of 35.0-27.2:
