Vegas computer predicts outcome of Pac-12 Championship Game
The Pac-12 Championship Game will be the first of the Power 5 conferences to kick off the weekend.
On Friday night, Utah and Oregon will square off for a conference title. For Utah, the Utes were ranked No. 5 on the latest College Football Playoff Rankings. This is their chance to make a statement and push for the No. 4 seed.
For Oregon, the Ducks are out of the Playoff race with two losses. However, a Pac-12 title would put the Ducks in the Rose Bowl which continues to be one of the best bowl games in the country.
Currently, Utah is listed by most places as a 6.5-point favorite in the Friday night showdown. When it comes to the computer prediction put out by Odds Shark, it is projecting the Utes to cover that margin and win by double digits.
That prediction sees Utah winning by a final score of 41.8-29.0:
With LSU or Georgia guaranteed to lose in the SEC Championship Game, a 12-point win would be the statement win Utah is looking for. Time will tell if the Utes can do enough to sneak into the Playoff.
