We have finally hit game week for the National Semifinal games!
Between now and Saturday stands the Christmas holiday, along with a week of preparation for the College Football Playoff teams. Anticipation has been building, and it is almost time for two teams to advance to the CFP Final.
The first game to kick on Dec. 28 will be the Peach Bowl showdown between LSU and Oklahoma. The top-ranked Tigers have a potent offensive attack led by LSU QB Joe Burrow while Oklahoma’s strength also rests on the shoulders of star QB Jalen Hurts.

Heading into the game, both teams are dealing with some issues. LSU may be without its starting running back while Oklahoma has reportedly lost three players to suspension and another defensive starter to injury. It will be interesting to see which injury or suspension proves to be most impactful.
Heading into the week of preparation, Odds Shark has released a computer prediction for the game. The spread is already a high one at LSU -13.5, but this computer prediction actually sees the Tigers covering in a shootout.
