Here’s what the lines look like for the Big Ten next week:
- Michigan State (-6) at Rutgers
- Maryland at Ohio State (-21)
- Wisconsin (-8) at Illinois
- Michigan (-1) at Nebraska
- Penn State at Iowa (Pk)
Penn State at Iowa is the headliner. Both the Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes will be undefeated going into next week’s showdown at Kinnick Stadium. The winner will have a very strong case for a College Football Playoff berth as the calendar moves toward mid-October.
Michigan and Nebraska is another fascinating game on the Big Ten slate this week. Michigan is undefeated, but the Huskers have been playing better lately. Nebraska has a pair of one-score losses to undefeated Michigan State and Oklahoma as well as a blowout win over Northwestern in its last three games.
Michigan State and Ohio State are also favorites this weekend as they contend for the Big Ten East title.
