Week 11 is here with the top three teams in the conference back in action!
There are five games on the B1G slate this week with plenty of intriguing storylines throughout. Ohio State enters a game against Maryland with the biggest opening point spread for the Buckeyes this season. Lovie Smith and Illinois will also be going for bowl eligibility against Michigan State, but most eyes will be on Minneapolis.

Undefeated Penn State is making the treck to Minnesota where the Nittany Lions will take on PJ Fleck and the fellow undefeated Golden Gophers. Minnesota is looking to maintain a two-game lead in the B1G West while Penn State is trying to keep pace with Ohio State in the B1G East. Either way, it is bound to be an intriguing matchup, but there will be no College GameDay on hand for the contest.
Elsewhere, Purdue takes on Northwestern with two teams fighting for a bit of respect this season. Wisconsin and Iowa are also battling it out in a Top-25 showdown. The winner will be in a good position in the West and just one game behind Minnesota should the Gophers lose to Penn State. Both Iowa and Wisconsin have yet to play Minnesota.
As the teams get ready for a week of preparation, here are the opening lines for the Week 11 B1G games, courtesy of Vegas Insider:
- Ohio State (-44) vs Maryland
- Michigan State (-13.5) vs Illinois
- Penn State (-7) vs Minnesota
- Purdue (-1.5) vs Northwestern
- Wisconsin (-10) vs Iowa
