The lines for Week 8 of Big Ten action have been set.
Here’s a look, courtesy of Circa Sports:
- Maryland -8 vs Rutgers
- Nebraska -10 vs Minnesota
- Iowa -1 vs Wisconsin
- Indiana -14 vs Purdue
- Ohio State -30 vs Michigan
- Maryland -9 vs Rutgers
- Northwestern -15 vs Illinois
- Penn State -13 vs Michigan State
There are some interesting side-notes to the lines that are among the list.
Penn State, after back-to-back wins over Michigan and Rutgers, finds themselves nearly two-touchdown favorites over Michigan State.
After dropping their game on Saturday to Indiana, Wisconsin is a one-point underdog against Iowa. The Hawkeyes posted a dominant second-half in their win over Illinois. The Illini are 2-TD+ underdogs against Northwestern.
Indiana, fresh off their 14-6 win over Badgers, are 2-TD favorites over in-state rival Purdue. That is not surprising considering the latest slide of the Boilermakers. Jeff Brohm’s squad made it four straight losses after falling to Nebraska.
Not surprisingly, Ohio State is a 30-point favorite over Michigan.
