Vegas releases spreads for Week 9 B1G matchups

B1G Championship Week is here, and the early spreads are out of Vegas.
Here’s a look at the opening lines, courtesy of BetOnline:
- Nebraska (-4.5) vs. Rutgers
- Purdue vs. Indiana (-10.5)
- Northwestern vs. Ohio State (-20.5)
- Minnesota vs. Wisconsin (-11)
- Illinois vs. Penn State (-15)
- Michigan vs. Iowa (-13.5)
- Michigan State vs. Maryland (-1)
Of note, aside from the Nebraska/Rutgers and Michigan State/Maryland games, Vegas is clearly expecting some lopsided results out of the final week of B1G play.
The Championship Game features Northwestern as 20-point underdogs to Ohio State, with Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin and Indiana all listed as double-digit favorites.
Wisconsin is heavily favored over Minnesota, even after coming off a tough loss to Iowa. Illinois will have to face the Nittany Lions under interim head coach, offensive coordinator Rod Smith. Sunday, the Illini fired 5-year head coach Lovie Smith.
Purdue and Indiana had their final regular season game canceled due to COVID-19 issues, but the two are paired up again on Saturday.
