The Big Ten basketball season is reaching a crucial point where teams begin to separate. Those with a clear trajectory to the NCAA Tournament begin to build their resumes to join in the madness.

Recent odds release by Circa Sports give a clear sense of where the bookmakers rank the Big Ten’s teams ahead of the tournament and their odds to win the national title.

No. 5 Iowa (11-2) and No. 7 Michigan (11-0) are the clear-cut favorites and are currently the two highest ranked Big Ten teams. They are followed by No. 14 Illinois (9-4), No. 9 Wisconsin (11-3), Michigan State (8-4) and then Rutgers (7-5).

Curiously, No. 21 Ohio State (10-3) have longer odds than several unranked teams such as Michigan State and Rutgers.
