Vegas releases updated national title odds following Week 9 action
Headlined by No. 5 Oklahoma falling to Kansas State, 48-41, in Manhattan, it was a hectic Week 9 across the college football landscape.
Factor in No. 8 Notre Dame’s loss in Ann Arbor and No. 9 Auburn dropping a close one to No. 2 LSU, and we had three top-10 teams lose on October 26.
In the aftermath of this chaos, one Las Vegas sportsbook released their updated national title odds on Sunday morning.

Retaining their grip on the top spot, the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide routed Arkansas, 48-7, in Tuscaloosa. Filling in for junior Tua Tagovailoa, redshirt sophomore Mac Jones threw for 235 yards and three scores.
Tied with the Clemson Tigers for the second-best odds, the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes made a statement by running past No. 13 Wisconsin, 38-7. Another lopsided affair, Clemson dismantled Boston College, 59-7; junior Travis Etienne ran for 109 yards and three touchdowns for the No. 4 Tigers.
Surviving their third top-10 test of the season, LSU held off Auburn, 23-20, in Baton Rouge. Heisman Trophy frontrunner Joe Burrow added 321 more yards and another touchdown pass, his 30th of the campaign.
The darling of the American Athletic Conference, No. 16 SMU beat Dana Holgorsen’s Houston team on the road, 34-31, on October 24. Receiving the primetime treatment, the Mustangs will travel to the Liberty Bowl to face Memphis (7-1) on Saturday at 7:30PM ET on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor on the call.
