The opening line has been set for Super Bowl LV. The spread was released moments after it was known the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would be playing the Kansas City Chiefs for the championship.

Per BetOnline.ag, the Chiefs open as a 3-point favorite in Super Bowl LV. The over/under for the contest has been set at 57 points. The game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 7 with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. ET and coverage airing on CBS.

Kansas City ended the regular season with a 14-2 record and earned a trip to the Super Bowl by beating the Cleveland Browns (22-17) in the Divisional Round and taking down the Buffalo Bills (38-24) in the AFC Championship Game.

Tampa Bay was 11-5 during the 2020 season and fought its way to the Super Bowl by beating the Washington Football Team (31-23) in the Wild Card Round, knocking off the New Orleans Saints (30-20) in the Divisional Round and defeating the Green Bay Packers (31-26) in the NFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs were the winners of last year’s Super Bowl. Tom Brady will be making his 10th appearance in the game but this will be his first year playing with the Buccaneers.
