Phenomenal underdog stories are just one of the great parts about sports.

Whether a small school beats a bigger school or a middle of the road team defeats a juggernaut, happiness for the little guy ensues. On Saturday, in Week 1 of the 2018 college football season, an intriguing upset took place.

The Villanova interception sealed the upset for the Wildcats, which is a school certainly more known for its basketball program. After all, Villanova has won two of the past three titles in men’s basketball.
