This hit will likely leave a sting for quite some time.

Louisiana-Lafayette is taking on No. 1 Alabama, and the game has gone predictably in the first half. Heading into halftime, the top-ranked Crimson Tide are on top by a score of 49-0. No relief is in sight for the Ragin’ Cajuns, and one player in particular took a massive shot on this play.

According to the team roster, the unfortunate recipient of the hit was No. 57, long-snapper Jackson Ladner. He paid the price for hustling to cover this punt as he was absolutely laid-out with the block.

Barstool Sports shared the video of the punt return and massive hit:

Ladner likely doesn’t want Bama anytime soon.
