Remember what Baker Mayfield was like in college?
He was really talented, sure. He won the Heisman Trophy for a reason and got enough hype around his name to make him the eventual No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
However, he wasn’t always the perfect role model. Whether it was when he ran from the police, grabbed his crotch or planted a flag in Ohio Stadium after beating the Buckeyes, he hasn’t shown a ton of maturity.
Since being with the Cleveland Browns, Mayfield has primarily stayed out of the headlines for the wrong reasons. On Tuesday, it came out that Mayfield did something he wasn’t supposed to.
The caveat here is that the action Mayfield did was indeed a good one.
Take a look:
Baker Mayfield was called off the field by the team when autographs were supposed to be over. He refused and signed and took selfies with every soldier remaining on the field. #Browns pic.twitter.com/gY8zm525yK
