WATCH: BTN’s Kevin Kugler gives shout-out to absent broadcast partner Matt Millen

The Big Ten Network is adjusting to the absence of analyst Matt Millen, and Kevin Kugler took time to give Millen a shout-out before Saturday night’s kickoff.

Kugler and Millen combined to call the first five games of the season, but it was announced earlier this week that Millen is stepping aside for the rest of 2018. Millen shared that he is battling a rare health disorder and is using the time off to focus on his health.

It is no secret that most broadcast partners develop close relationships while on the job. While BTN will try to move on in Millen’s absence, it certainly sounds like Kugler will miss having him in the booth.
