In case you weren’t aware, there’s one fantastic quality that everyone loves about Washington State head coach Mike Leach. You can ask him absolutely anything, and you’re almost guaranteed an epic response.
That goes for holidays, too.
On Halloween night, Leach was asked to provide his thoughts on candy corn, one of the most classic, yet debated, treats passed out this time of year. Unfortunately for all you candy corn lovers out there, Leach is not a fan.
“I’ve never liked candy corn, I think it’s just awful,” Leach said on Tuesday. “It’s like fruitcake, there’s a reason they only serve fruitcake once a year. It’s awful.”
He also said the same applies to mint juleps and that he wonders why candy corn is even served at all.
It may be just after Halloween, but this :40 second spiel on candy corn is definitely a treat every college football fan will enjoy.
