Joel Klatt has given the B1G a lot of love recently.

A few days ago, the FOX Sports college football analyst was on BTN’s Take Ten podcast to talk about the depth and quality of the B1G this year. He paid the ultimate compliment, saying that with Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State and Michigan all in the same conference, the league was the “best and deepest” in the country.

But would Klatt double down on his statement? On Thursday, Klatt provided his power rankings for Power Five conferences.

Yeah, he still has the B1G still in that top slot.

Klatt has the B1G in prime position, followed by the SEC, Big XII, ACC and Pac-12.

We hear constantly how dominant the SEC is, having had two teams reach the College Football Playoff last season and owning the last decade of the BCS era, but it’s hard to argue against the B1G, which has five top 15 teams heading into the season.

Will the season prove Klatt right? As B1G fans, we certainly hope so.
