WATCH: Dabo Swinney jokes about Nick Saban's retirement
How good are Clemson and Alabama?
Just this season, the two are favored to reach the National Championship once again. Over the past four seasons, the two teams have met in the final game three times. Clemson has won twice, while Alabama has won once.
Both programs are on top of the college football world right now and everybody knows it. So, when are these programs going to drop off?
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is only 49-years-old. As long as he wants to stick with the Tigers, they should continue to be a force for a long time. What about Alabama and Nick Saban?
Saban is 67 and turning 68 this fall. Maybe a window maybe opening due to his age?
Swinney was asked about that:
Dabo Swinney jokes that Nick Saban “ain’t ever going to retire. What’s he going to do?” In other words, college football might want to get used to @AlabamaFTBL vs. @ClemsonFB every year for the title. pic.twitter.com/HbuBAZLOJY

Swinney basically made a joke of it. He knows that Saban lives for dominating college football and to think that Saban would be going anywhere anytime soon would be narrow-minded.
Swinney was also asked about a bet between him and Saban and buying dinners at the end of the year. If one coach loses to the other in the Playoff, the loser buys dinner.
For B1G fans, hopefully these coaches won’t be buying each other dinner in the future.
