WATCH: Families of Sam Foltz, Mike Sadler honored prior to MSU-Nebraska showdown

The deaths of Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler hit Nebraska and Michigan State hard in 2016.
The two punters were tragically killed in a car accident in 2016. Both players were traveling together after helping out in a kicking camp when the accident occurred. Sadler punted for the Spartans from 2011-14 while Foltz punted for the Cornhuskers from 2013-15.
Saturday’s game between the two schools will be the first matchup since the accident, and Mark Dantonio and Scott Frost took time to honor the families of Foltz and Sadler before kickoff.
The BTN shared the video of the intimate ceremony held at midfield between the two coaches and the families:

Michigan State Football also shared a video of the tribute as Frost and Dantonio provided a ceremonial football to the families:
