WATCH: Former B1G stars connect on 75-yard TD in Week 2
Kirk Cousins made the move to play for the Minnesota Vikings and he probably couldn’t be happier.
Not only does he play for a team that believes in him — shown by the money he received — but he also has a number of weapons to throw to and an elite defense. The Vikings are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl for a reason.
One of Cousins’ targets, Stefon Diggs, has a pretty neat thing in common with him: They both played at Big Ten schools in college.
Cousins of course went to Michigan State, while Diggs caught many passes at Maryland. On Sunday at Lambeau Field against Green Bay, the Vikings need a jolt offensively.
Cousins gave the team just that by finding Diggs:
This was just beautiful.@KirkCousins8. @StefonDiggs. SEVENTY FIVE yards!

The 75-yard strike was a beautiful throw and catch from the former Big Ten studs. Minnesota, oddly enough, went on to tie Green Bay in the game.
