WATCH: Georgia turns disaster into a touchdown following strip sack
Things are bouncing Georgia’s way in the early going of Saturday’s game against Tennessee.
The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 2 in the nation and are heavily favored against the Volunteers. Tennessee has had a rough go in the first quarter of the game, and what began as a big play for the Volunteers turned into the opening touchdown for Georgia.
One UT defender got a good jump on this snap and came around the edge trying to get to Bulldogs QB Jake Fromm. He was able to swat the ball and force a fumble. Unfortunately, that is where things actually got worse for the Volunteers.
The fumbled ball bounced right into the hands of Georgia TE Isaac Nauta. He scooped it up and was unstoppable as he went all the way down the field for the touchdown.
