It is unclear what initially started the exchange, but Florida head coach Dan Mullen and defensive coordinator Todd Grantham can be seen in a shouting match with Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason. Play was initially halted for an injured Commodores player on the field.

As a result of the exchange, both benches began to clear. Thankfully, the officials were able to get a handle on things before things got worse, but the second half will likely feature more tense moments in a tight game.

Nick Bromberg with Yahoo! Sports shared the video of the exchange:

When asked about the incident headed into halftime, Mullen chose not to elaborate. He sad it will be up to Greg Sankey (SEC Commissioner) and Steve Shaw (SEC Coordinator of Officials) to investigate after the game.
