“Watched Jake Herbstreit (son of Kirk Herbstreit) workout this weekend,” Simmons tweeted. ” 2019 CB that added 20 pounds this offseason. Good player that is starting to get some college traction. Started at CB last year on Nashville Power MBA.”

But Simmons’ tweet wasn’t the only compliment Jake received. He also earned some pretty high praise from Pollard, a former standout at Purdue, nine-year NFL veteran and Super Bowl champion.

“For y’all who have NEVER played DB (or football), he played every drill the correct way with the correct speed,” Pollard tweeted, defending Jake. “Stiff? Y’all smoking something! That’s the way he’s suppose to move. You rarely see a white DB moving and stepping like that. Keep working bro!”

Jake Herbstreit hasn’t received any college offers yet but is starting to receive some looks. Kirk Herbstreit played at Ohio State.

We’ll see if this video, and the compliments of Pollard, land the cornerback any offers soon.
