Lee Corso has been making headgear picks on ESPN’s College GameDay for over two decades now. It’s become everyone’s favorite part of the pre-game show.
On Saturday, the GameDay crew was live from Baton Rouge, setting the stage for No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 3 LSU. And with ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown just down the road in New Orleans, Corso decided to make a pit stop before heading home.
Corso gave the ESPN’s NFL pre-game show a bit of college flare. He made a headgear selection for the St. Louis Rams vs. New Orleans Saints matchup.
Unlike Saturday when he chose Alabama over LSU, Corso played to the home crowd.
Who did Lee Corso choose in his first-ever NFL headgear pick?
Let's just say the crowd fired up the "WHO DAT!?" chant 🔥 pic.twitter.com/cuu9BROQEB

Following Corso’s pick was an extremely loud “Who Dat?!” chant.
Sunday marked the first time Corso has made a headgear selection for an NFL game. It was so well-received, he might have to do it on a more regular basis.
We’ll keep an eye on Corso and see if he makes any more appearances on the Sunday NFL Countdown show.
