WATCH: Miami gets to show off 'touchdown rings' after scoring 25-yard-TD
Miami-Florida seems to have the entire country watching.
After all, it is the first “big” game of the 2019 college football season. Week 0 is what this week is being called. The sport is fresh and lively again. We couldn’t wait for the season to begin and now it’s finally here.
After a Miami field goal, Florida took a screen pass 66 yards to the house and the Hurricanes eventually responded with another field goal. The scoring in the first half seemed to conclude there, but Miami decided that that wouldn’t be the case.

On a drive starting from its own 10-yard-line with 6:35 left to go in the half, the Hurricanes marched all the way down the field 90 yards to score a go-ahead TD. The 12-play drive was capped off with this batted ball that ended up going in for a score:

So now if you include the turnover chain that Miami has, the school now has almost 500 orange and green sapphires to go along with its more than 2,000 sapphire stones. There is also 100 grams of gold involved and both the 2019 turnover chain and touchdown rings took three months to complete.
Miami looks flashy. You at least have to give them that.
