College football has a lot of, well, interesting traditions.

Miami has a tradition that is pretty new, which is its turnover chain.

The chain is worn by the player who forces a turnover, which can give a student-athlete a little bit of an incentive to be opportunistic on defense. One tradition that mirrors this idea comes from Morehead State.

However, Morehead State doesn’t have a turnover chain, so to say.

It’s actually a “Turnover Cane.”
