Watch: Northwestern and Illinois bands play ‘Go, Cubs, Go’ at halftime

How big was the Cubs’ World Series win in Illinois?

In case you hadn’t heard about the nearly six million people that turned out to the celebration parade on Friday to rejoice that the 108-year drought had ended, Northwestern and Illinois bands took the celebration into the weekend.

On Saturday, both the Illini and the Wildcats hosted home games (Northwestern vs. Wisconsin; Illinois vs. Michigan State) and dedicated their halftime show to the Cubs victory. Both bands played the beloved song “Go, Cubs, Go” and set up in similar formations to spell out “Cubs.”

So, here you go, Cubs fans. Another day you get to celebrate the World Series win:
