Ohio State hates Michigan.
And, Michigan hates Ohio State. It only seems right. But over the last few years, Penn State has gotten to what some would call an elite level.
Games between the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions have gotten very intense and competitive recently because of that. To call Ohio State-Penn State a rivalry isn’t crazy — even though it doesn’t match what the Buckeyes have with the Wolverines.
With that in mind, sports can skew people’s perception. Imagine being an Ohio State fan and finding out a new co-worker is a Penn State fan. There’s not necessarily hatred there, but there is certainly something to talk about.
Sports also can be a beautiful thing. Earlier this week, a Penn State fan was in need of a kidney. Pretty serious, right?
Well, an Ohio State fan found out about the Nittany Lions fan in need. And guess what she did?
Donate her kidney to him.
Take a look at how she told him the amazing news:
"I'll have a scarlet kidney but a heart that beats blue and white." 💙
When an @OhioState fan found out she was a donor match for a #PennState fan, there was only one thing to do — let him know he was getting a new kidney, as the @NittanyLion. (via @ABC)

This is honestly incredible. Sports can be a crazy thing — both good and bad.
In this instance, calling this a good deed would be an immense understatement.
