Oklahoma State was in quite a battle on Saturday with its rival, No. 6 Oklahoma.
The game was tight throughout, and at the end, the Cowboys scored a TD to trail 48-47. Only 1:03 remained in the game and Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy decided to go for two and the win right then and there.
What happened?
Gundy’s call failed and Oklahoma escaped with the one-point victory.
After the game, of course, Gundy was asked about it. It seemed as though the reporter asked in particular about if each Cowboy player backed Gundy’s decision.
The Cowboys coach certainly gave a candid response on this one:
"I'm the only guy that matters on that. I don't give a s*** what they think."

Gundy is indeed the only guy that matters, and yes, he will be criticized one way or the other because of his decision. Not caring about what his players think is a bit different, though.
