All the hype over the offseason has been with new Michigan QB Shea Patterson.

And, rightfully so. Patterson was a highly-touted recruit coming out of high school and if the Wolverines have had any issues under coach Jim Harbaugh, it’s been with the offense. Hence, the admiration for Patterson choosing to transfer from Ole Miss to Michigan.

But, back at Ole Miss, QB Jordan Ta’amu appears to be taking advantage of his opportunity. The Rebels start the 2018 season with a game against Texas Tech and Ta’amu threw a dime to WR Damarkus Lodge.

Both the throw and catch were just beautiful to watch. Patterson may go on to do big things with the maize and blue, but Ole Miss seems to be doing just fine without the former No. 4 overall recruit according to 247Sports.
