It’s mid-November.
In most places in the United States, it’s cold. And for a decent portion of the country, it’s snowing. In the state of Colorado, that’s exactly what was taking place on Saturday for the game between Colorado and Utah.
Colorado is known for its snow, too, so the weather wasn’t a surprise. What took place because of the weather, however, was a bit surprising and hilarious:
No. Snowballs. Allowed. pic.twitter.com/Kh2ibJKXxz

Fans, we’re sorry. But you can’t throw snowballs onto the field. That’s dangerous.
However, you can watch the game safely in your freezing seats, as the Utes go on to beat the Buffaloes 30-7. It couldn’t have been too fun for the fans, either, as Colorado has now lost its last 6 games after starting 5-0 and are in jeopardy of missing out on a bowl game.
